The Carey Apiary was established in 2024 after 4 years of hobby beekeeping. Our owner and operator Patrick Carey fell in love with bees and discovered a thriving honey market. He decided to pursue his Master Beekeeping certification through the University of Florida. Carey Apiary is the premier honey farm in Sussex County. The Apiary hopes to fill the hole in the honey market by providing raw local honey. We also specialize in honeybee removals and non-honeybee exterminations.
